Primary Knowledge Curriculum

Curriculum Intent

We have chosen to use the Primary Knowledge Curriculum to teach Science, History, Geography and Art. It aims to inspire children through carefully sequenced, knowledge-rich lessons that support them to ‘know more than they did before.’  The curriculum content has been carefully chosen, working with subject experts, and is organised in a coherent way to ensure that children’s knowledge builds from year to year in each subject area.

The Primary Knolwedge Curriculum ensures children gain their knowledge in a cumulative manner, making firm foundations from which children can progress and develop a deeper conceptual understanding of each subject.
