Thank you for showing an interest in our school. I am pleased to offer you this welcome as a brief guide to the work and aims of the school. I hope it will capture the atmosphere of our school which is open, friendly and purposeful. We pride ourselves on our Christian ethos which enables all children to flourish in a safe and stimulating atmosphere where we endeavour to motivate, challenge and inspire our children through a differentiated, creative and personalised curriculum.
Providing outstanding education for all our children is of paramount importance. The governors, staff and myself are committed to ensuring that we grow and sustain a rich, caring and aspirational culture in our school, which in turn will benefit all its children and their families.
Cold Harbour is a school where ‘Growing, Learning, Achieving Together’ is our motto.
- Growing in confidence, faith, personal awareness and ability.
- Learning in creative, fun, technologically assisted and investigative ways.
- Achieving as individuals, teams and as a school community through a range of opportunities.
- Together in the spirit of collaboration, guidance and nurture.
Much of our school’s ongoing success is reliant upon the partnerships that we build with our community – locally and globally.
Consequently I look forward to getting to know our families and visitors by personally welcoming you in to school should you choose Cold Harbour as the school for your child or just as a place to visit.

Being a Church of England school, our Christian values and school family are very important to us. We follow four basic elements which together form an ecology of abundant life. They are educating for wisdom, knowledge and skills; hope and aspiration; community and living well together; and dignity and respect.
We believe that all children are loved by God, are individually unique and that the school is committed to helping each child to fulfil their potential in all aspect of their childhood: physically, academically, socially, morally and spiritually.
Children of all ages are encouraged to interact with each other in a caring focused way. We want all children to progress individually according to their needs, whilst setting high expectations for them and all the adults in school. The school works on a basis of clear aims and values in a trusting and open, but secure environment. Parents are encouraged to play a full role in the school as effective child development is about the whole school and community working together.
Together we share our Christian message of love, joy and the celebration of our humanity without exception or exclusion.
We work closely with our local church, St Mary’s in Bletchley. Please visit http://www.stmarysbletchley.org for information about the church.
